Natural Oakmoss Chypre Perfume – Botanical Green Eau de Parfum

Somehow ordered the wrong scent. Got both the one I'd accidentally ordered and another one, and was not disappointed. So I'll be ordering again to make sure I get the one I was initially after.

Recommended for true perfume lovers and learners! I like many vintage perfumes and was looking for what I was missing from modern, mainstream formulations. I wanted to purchase some samples as an education and for layering. I was delighted to find real chypre perfume from Joanne Bassett, as well as an array of animalics and other fragrances. Today I'm wearing and loving Intimacy Chypre. Yesterday I wore the Green Chypre whose animalics initially challenged me, but the drydown was so warm and lovely, that it may be a new favorite! Fast shipping, with good, protective packaging. She even included a bonus sample! I will definitely be a return customer.

Yes! This smells almost exactly like the Chypre by Coty I remember(although the sample I received was heavily aged from the 80’s) but this is so close it just isn’t as aged(naturally) but I really like it! Such an iconic scent

This is magnificent. I had been eager to order a full bottle (Chypre-Intimacy) since trying a 5mL sample. It reminds me of the original Coty Chypre, I can’t give higher praise than that! Of course it is beautifully made and stands on its own without any comparisons. Just sublime. Love it and everyone around me loves this too.

This is my favorite of the two chypres I purchased. My body chemistry throws a lot of scents off for me and many times go insanely powdery, even if that isn't a note in the fragrance. While the pure chypre doesn't last as long on my skin, it does mellow nicely. Intimacy chypre, however, has so many layers and evolves so nicely on my skin. I've had so many compliments! It's heady and warm! I will be getting a larger bottle once I'm through my sample!

I've been dipping my toes in fragrance now that I know more exist outside the nauseating powdery floral mixes. I read the notes reviews on reddit of chypre and knew I had to try it. I'm glad I did! I can wear either chypre I purchased without getting a headache or sick! It's rich, earthy, and just a hint of sophisticated floral that doesn't go powdery like so many fragrances do on my skin.

I am newer in exploring the perfumery world and really wanted to try a Cyphre after reading about Coty’s original from 1917. I tend to love woodsy, musky scents and of the 3 the Cyphre was definitely my favorite but all 3 were nice. I am still in the trial period with these fragrances, but have so far worn each one. I found the lasting power of the fragrance was on the shorter side but will try again by adding more of the perfume on my next application.

My partner is smell sensitive and I love fragrance so we try to strike a balance. Partner approved! These fragrances wear close to the body and are not overpowering to others around you.

This (Intimacy) is so beautifully crafted, a real chypre like the great chypres of the past. It blew me away from first spray and will definitely be getting a full bottle! Thank you so much, it’s so beautiful and thank you for the gift sample too :)

A beautiful light musky green scent with a comforting dry down. It may be the chocolate but it puts me in mind of nuzzling a baby. A very calming perfume. As with many of the samples I have purchased from this artist, it positively affects my mood. Lovely energy.
